Initial consultation and introductory lesson are free, then pay in advance. Rates below are typical but may be changed for bespoke courses requiring extra preparation.
- £40 for 55 minutes
- £30 for 40 minutes
Additional charges for lessons held at home (typically £40 extra per term) or at client’s house (depends on travel-time).
Once I start tuition for any student I won’t increase rate by more than inflation without 12 months notice.
Typically £40 per hour
This is a service for parents who wish to home school and do not require a paid tutor but wish support with:
- Curriculum planning
- Lesson planning
- Progress Assessment
- Marking
- Internet Safety (most important!)
- Use of AI in teaching and learning
Typically £250 per day, depending on subjects and structure.
This is a comprehensive, in-person service, tailored to your child’s needs. I cover all subjects to GCSE or a more limited range of subjects to A-level (Maths, Science, Modern Languages, Latin). I offer four hours daily tuition plus preparation and marking.
Charges are per hour, not per child, so great value for multi-sibling families
